Courtyard by Marriott – Hebbal
After a long week at work, even the calmest of individuals can be ready to blow a gasket at any minute. With the flurry of activities you face every day, stress can take its heavy toll on you before you even get the chance to slow down and breathe.
Even if you sleep 7-9 hours the night before, even if you work out in the morning, and even if you limit caffeine and stay hydrated, by the time you get home you are a total vegetable.
You may enjoy the work you do. Or some parts of it, at least. But even if most of your ‘working day’ is filled with things you enjoy doing, it’s still necessary to take some time off to relax. To tune out. Turn off. Shut down. And do something different.
Sometimes it can be difficult to actually relax when you finally get some time off. Especially when you have a demanding job or a super busy family life, it’s hard to find the balance between work and life. So maybe you like to start your weekend by opening a bottle of wine, meanwhile checking your work mail and running from one social event to the other.
I am bringing to you Bangalore’s newest and most innovative branch of Courtyard by Marriott. They recently launched their new property in yet another super convenient part of the city – Hebbal.
Only 27.7 km from Kempegowda International Airport, 8.6 km from Yeswantpur Railway Station, 12.8 km from the CBD and just 1 km from Manyata Tech Park, this new property is easily accessible to all kinds of people – Techies, Travellers and Localities.
The New Courtyard by Marriott Hebbal totally comprises of 188 Guest Rooms including 102 Delux rooms, 77 executive rooms, 6 Junior Suites, 2 Executive Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All the rooms have high Speed Wireless Internet, iHome, Minibar, Tea/Coffee maker and a Laptop compliant safe which helps you work with a relaxing atmosphere.
Restaurants, Bars and Lounges :
- The Hebbal Café – This is where my heart lies because their a-la-carte menu is to die for ! They have everything from veg to non-veg, North Indian to South Indian, chats to desserts. The Head Chef, Mr. Gaurav Anand, is a man of innovation and hard work. The thoughtfulness of the kitchen was so evident and unique. Not just that, they keep changing their menu and presentation every once in a week which gives you a new experience every time you visit them.
- B’lore 45 – The Bar – The most needed place in a staycation is a bar. They have a beautiful set up just opposite the Hebbal Café which means you get to have food and wine together.
- Nazaara: The Rooftop Lounge – This is a still under construction part of the Marriott. But if how the staff described it to us is true, this will be the best part of this property. It is constructed on the top floor of the property over-looking the Nagavara Lake/Lumbini Gardens. I cannot wait to visit Nazaara after it is completed!
- Glazed – Your pit-stop for a quick bite when you are rushing else where. This is a pretty corner where the food and drinks are amazing. But the most amazing part is the view outside.
If you are already mesmerized, wait for it! Coz I haven’t even got to the best part yet ! The one thing about this property that I still can’t get over is it’s Infinity Pool! The best part of this Infinity Pool is indescribable. Over looking the Lake in front and the moving traffic of Hebbal, I could give up on anything for this view. Not only this, they even have a Spa right next to the swimming pool.
Do you know why I called this property Innovative ? I will tell you why ! As I already mentioned, this property is located right in front of the Nagavara Lake which is another option to relax on your weekend. To make your staycation more fun and relaxing, Marriott plans to step up and set up boat rides for it’s guests as part of their staycation for a lovely evening.
Not to forget the amazing hospitality provided by the staff, this is where I want to spend my next staycation at!
